Lil Boosie, born Terrence Hatch, is a hip hop artist from Louisiana, active since 2000. His rap lyrics tell stories of the drugs, violence, and prejudice he grew up with. While Lil Boosie has found success in the hip hop genre, he was sentenced to jail for drug possession in 2008, had his sentence doubled after violating probation and recently has faced murder charges. Lil Boosie has pled innocent to the murder charges and while in jail has continued to "move forward with his rap career."
