Cruise from historic Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, past the stunning national monuments and museums, to Georgetown and back to Alexandria on Nina's Dandy Dinner Cruise. Soak in the sights, including Washington's famous cherry blossom trees -- a gift from Japan in 1912 -- and the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials while enjoying a four-course meal by candlelight, served tableside, followed by dancing on the ship's elegant marble dance floor or under the stars on the upper deck. »Red High Heels

December 24, 2014 3:00 PM

If you found a box that held the definitive answer to whether or not God exists, would you share the results with the world? This is the question facing a group of thinkers in playwright Harrison Murphy's "The Blue Box", the final of three one-act plays in his "Red High Heels" trilogy. The other two plays in the trilogy also feature deep themes, including rejection and instability, all leading up to the big question at the end. Should the world know what's inside the box?

»Fiddler On The Roof

December 24, 2014 7:30 PM

The internationally-renowned, nine-time Tony Award-winning musical Fiddler on the Roof illustrates the story of a Jewish family living in 1905 Tsarist Russia. Centered around a poor Orthodox Jewish fiddler named Tevye, his wife Golde and their five daughters, the story explores the question of marrying for love or financial security and how to preserve tradition in a changing world. The production's smart and gripping material is sewn through with iconic songs, including "If I were a Rich Man," and "Matchmaker, Matchmaker," renditions of which have made their way into film, popular culture and even contemporary music.
