The restaurant is friendly to people with a variety of diets, featuring several gluten-free soups, like Cabbage Kielbasa or Butternut Squash, dairy-free soups like Chicken Paprikash or Stuffed Pepper, and vegetarian options like Tomato Basil, and even vegan Split Pea and Navy Bean. Apart from the regular meat and seafood menus, they also offer tasty vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options to their diners. Available in small and large platters, the food is on the expensive side due to its locality. Apart from the regular menu, daily specials are put up on the restaurant. Do try them out. Their full service bar offers some nice selections of wine, beer, signature cocktails and sake. A nice little corner serving creative dishes to satisfy different palates.
The Organic Energy Restaurant and Power Juice Café has a perfectly accurate name that doesn't leave much to the imagination. It screams, "We offer healthy wraps with smoothies!"—and has a menu to back that up. The menu is divided into salads, soups, Asian-style rice or noodle bowls, panini sandwiches, wraps, and breakfast foods. The last includes vegetable quiche with onions and greens. Carnivores worried that Organic Energy is all-vegetarian may be pleasantly surprised to find different meats on the menu, such as a Moroccan Chicken panini or ham available with any salad. Boot Scoot'N Saloon is a local country bar in the heart of this city. Originally it was known as Akron Agora, but although the name changed, the atmosphere and theme of the bar remained the same. So if you want to walk into something from a country western movie, where a bunch of people in cowboy hats and boots dance the country two-step to the music of the house band called Boot Scoot'N Band, this is definitely the place to walk into. The bar is open to teens on 'teen night' (every Sunday from 6pm to 11pm), while college and ladies night is a weekly event taking place every Wednesdays. Do call ahead for more details.

The most notable parts of the restaurant layout are the outdoor patio and the wood-burning grill in view of the diners. Taza offers complimentary savory pita bread to start the meal. The shish grill cooks up both lunches and dinners, at different prices. The dinner entrées include Samakeh Harra, Tajin, or Seana—cod, salmon, or tuna, respectively. Carnivores can enjoy the Shawarma Plate of grilled beef with veggies in tahini sauce, and vegetarians can try the Mujadara, a plate of lentils and rice topped with Salata and onions. The Paladar Latin Kitchen and Rum Bar opened in 2007 to great fanfare and has been a busy hub of Nuevo Latino fare ever since. Their menu includes traditional Latin American food—called "Latin Comfort Food"—as well as seafood and steaks. Vegetarians may have a difficult time at dinner, except for the Panko Crusted Vegetable Relleno, but the lunch menu includes several salads and other veggie options.
