Originally the city library, and given to the City of Modesto in 1912, this museum contains a complete dentist's office, a general store, and a recreated blacksmith shop, as well as other exhibits that include gold mining paraphernalia, original fire fighting equipment, and a collection of cattle brands from Stanislaus County.
Learn about the animals and plants that live in California's unique Central Valley while at this museum that features an exhibit of five habitat dioramas featuring native flora and fauna specific to this great valley, as well as exhibits featuring the Osterburg collection of animals from around the world and on the Central Valley Yokut Indians. A nature shop is also on the property.
Combining the classic games of tag and hide and seek with a high-tech twist, this place offers the most sophisticated laser tag equipment available and the game is played in a large, multi-level arena which features specialty lighting, swirling fog, and heart-pounding music.
Founded in 1981, the Castle Air Museum displays vintage aircrafts. It is amongst the largest aviation museums in the western United States and has displays from important wars like World War II, Cold War and Korean War.

The center features five galleries showcasing arts and cultural exhibits of local, regional, and national importance, including the Arbor Gallery, a retail cooperative of over 30 regional artists.
