Cristela Alonzo is a Latino female comic from Texas. After becoming interested in theater at the age of 13, she'd end up pursuing it during an ill-fated college tenure. Despite not graduating, Alonzo left school and moved to Dallas, where she tried to break into the world of stand-up comedy. After deciding that the Lone Star State wasn't the best area to get noticed, she moved to Los Angeles in 2005, where she quickly established herself as a provocative and brash comedic talent.
