Calabrese is a horror punk band that was formed by Phoenix, Arizona, natives Bobby, Jimmy and Davey Calabrese in 2003. Combining horror punk with a gothabilly aesthetic, the three-piece outfit released its debut album 13 Halloweens, with a melodic, guitar driven sound and morbid themes of death, ghosts and the occult. Calabrese continues to release new records such as its 2012's Dayglo Necros.
North Carolina-born, Nashville-based singer Erich Church is one of country music's most revered figures. Charting multiple hit singles through the early 2000s, Church had a number one album with 2011's Chief. The album's success brought Church an Academy of Country Music Award for Top New Solo Vocalist. Church's music draws on many of country music's favorite tropes, including drinking, love and a blue collar lifestyle.
A reference to its hometown of Orange County and the toxic herbicide used in the Vietnam War, Agent Orange is a trio noted as one of the first bands to fuse punk rock and surf music. Formed in 1979, the band has gone through many lineups, but has consistently remained active and stuck by its punk morals, refusing to sell out like many of its contemporaries. Though the band members claimed they didn't skate, Agent Orange was highly influential in the development of skate punk and its songs are often used in skateboard video games today. Because Agent Oranges appeals to such a broad variety of punk fans, the group has a devout audience around the world that continues to grow.
