Designed in the Tudor Revival style of architecture, the Woodrow Wilson Junior High School is beautiful historic structure. This historic structure is a great education center in Terre Haute, and is a beautiful place to vist and take a tour in this historic education center. This beauty was also registered on the National Historical Places in the year 1935.
Collett Park was founded in 1883 on lands donated by philanthropist Josephus Collett. The locality surrounding the park is called the Collett Park Neighborhood Historic District.
With several landmarks featuring on the National Register Historic District, Bridgeton boasts the 1860-built Covered Bridge that was rebuilt after being set ablaze in 2005 by a trouble maker. The oldest operating mill which overlooks the Covered Bridge is another must-visit along with the Old Town area and its charming cafe-bars, antique shops and heritage buildings. Originally known as Markland, Clay City is located in the Clay County and was originally platted in 1873. Often referred to as "a town in a time capsule", this is indeed true. The friendly townsfolk look forward to meeting visitors and making them feel at ease. The downtown area of the city is lined with century-old buildings, wide streets, leafy shaded areas and a number of restaurants serving traditional food.
