The Dirty Shame pub is open six days a week, serving car bombs and other libations to bikers and other thirsty patrons. The "Pub on the Edge" features weekly special events, such as Bike Nights and has been known to team up with other unique bars to host themed pub crawls. Not surprisingly, smoking is permitted, so as the night wears on, the floor tends to get sticky and the air gets stuffy. Still, this offbeat bar is a favorite to many, thanks to its rugged atmosphere, wide beer selection and, of course, the car bombs.

Beef 'O' Brady's is an Irish sports pub with a family atmosphere. The television screens keep patrons updated on the score of football games, while the menu offers great food at reasonable prices. Try the signature buffalo wings in a variety of flavors, from mild to Nuclear. The restaurant is clean and family-friendly, and Beef 'O' Brady's proudly sponsors local recreational sports teams. While the burgers, sandwiches, and salads on the menu are typical of any sports pub or family restaurant, they score points over others by serving tasty and quality food. Look for the green logo popping up throughout the Southeast.
The Copper Top Pub is a simple bar that promises a relaxing night out. Just up the street from USF, “The Top” attracts a crowd of graduate students rather than the frat boys and sorority girls that frequent its Fowler Avenue neighbor, the Hangout. The Top only serves beer and wine, and the menu is limited to typical bar munchies like chicken wings, onion rings, and jalapeno poppers, but remains fairly inexpensive. They also serve pizza from the neighboring CDB Pizza. It's also one of the few bars that permits smoking inside, so if you are anti-smoke this may not be the place for you. Grab a table to share a pitcher with your peers, or stake out a pool table or a dart board for some friendly competition.
If you're 21 and above, walk in at Gaspar's Grotto with your head held high. This eclectic and unique eatery serves up barbecues, burgers and salads extraordinaire! If this doesn't satisfy you, summon the world famous feline “Tanker Ray”, the barcat! The atmosphere, the staff, the service and the theme is all worth a visit!
