»Frank Caliendo

March 27, 2015 9:00 PM

Frank Caliendo is a stand-up comedian and impressionist from Chicago who's perhaps best known for his work on the Fox Network's hit sketch comedy show MADtv. His skills as an impressionist are perhaps the comedian's most notable aspect, with a repertoire of over 120 impressions that are described by audiences and critics as being consistently spot-on. Caliendo also enjoys much success outside the comedy circuit, as his renowned John Madden impression gained him a semi-regular gig as prognosticator for Fox NFL Sundays. Recently, Frank Caliendo returned to the stage in full force headlining his own show at the Monte Carlo Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas.

»Foreigner

March 27, 2015 8:00 PM

Foreigner is responsible for creating some of the most memorable juke box anthems of the 1980s. Songs like "Hot Blooded," "Cold as Ice" and "Double Vision" helped cement the British-American band as a premier pop rock group that writes catchy songs with easy-to-sing lyrics. Though the band's popularity peaked in the late-1970s/early-1980s, the group still soldiers on and continues to play its easily recognizable tunes to throngs of adoring, yet somewhat aged fans.

Nashville-based artists Kristy Osmunson and Jon Stone make up the country pop duo American Young. Though the songwriting duo is also known for the tunes they've penned for artists like Blake Shelton and Rascal Flatts, the band's own material, woven through with tight harmonies and intimate narratives, has won it a sizable following around its regional area.

»Drowning Pool

April 01, 2015 7:00 PM

Drowning Pool became a household name on the metal circuit in a matter of months in 2001, thanks to a well-received series of Ozzfest performances and the huge success of "Bodies," the band's debut single. The nu metal band formed in Dallas in 1996, and with constant touring began gathering a local following of heavy music fans. After "Bodies"--and its now oft-repeated chorus of "let the bodies hit the floor"--spread all over alternative rock radio, the band seemed poised to dethrone some of the genre's more prominent heavy-hitters. Unfortunately, however, lead singer Dave Williams died of heart disease just a year later and Drowning Pool was forced to evaluate its options. Ultimately, the band soldiered on, running through a couple of new lead singers before settling into a solidified new lineup. The group released its eponymous fourth album in 2010 and continues to tour regularly.
