Established in 1908, the House of David, a religious sect in Benton Harbor, made and used miniature trains on which a journey of about 1 mile (1.6 kilometers) was offered. Walt Disney is said to have ridden this train! Later the site was used for an amusement park named Eden Springs, keeping intact the rail road and other structures created by the religious community. Although most rides and attractions in the amusement park are shut, the place still offers railroad rides on summer weekends. The management aims to collect many historic trains which the visitors can experience first hand. The Eden Springs Park also doubles up as an RV Park and a campground throughout the year. Please visit the website for more information.
The club includes an eighteen hole golf course, swimming pool, a full service clubhous with a restaurant, grill room and locker facilities. Memberships are limited.
Hacker's Golf and Games is a mini-golf course and also has go-karts, batting cages, a driving range, game room and pro shop. A snack bar is available.
