The Pfiffner Pioneer Park is a great recreational spot for the community of Stevens Point. Located by the river, it comprises of a playground for children as well as a bandshell that regularly hosts concerts by the City Band, and other touring acts. This landscape is the venue for the annual artists’ gathering, the Art in the Park event.

Built in 1890 as the T.B. Scott Public Library, this elegant bibliotheca was renamed the McMillan Memorial Library in 1970 and has won quite a few awards as well. It has an amazing collections of books that are good for research and other educational purposes. This beautiful athenaeum has regular events such as Monday movies, story-times for children, family oriented programs, adult concerts, reading sessions, gaming and more. No wonder it is very popular among the locals here.
This local speedway features a high-banked, 1/3 mile, asphalt race track with super late model, super stock, pure stock, 4 cylinders, and cruiser divisions. Camping is allowed and races are held frequently.
This beautiful park is located on Lake Wazeecha and features camping, fishing, boating, water sports, and a nine hole frisbee golf course. The campground facilities include electric hookups, flush toilets, hot showers, a playground, and 226 miles of snowmobile trails.
This panoramic park features a beach area, boat ramp, picnic area, playground, hanicapped access paths, boat dock, cross country ski trails, and a shelter.
