As the name suggests, Saugatuck Center for the Arts or the SCA is a center for performing and visual arts. Throughout the year, it organizes programs and events, and caters to children and adults alike. Drama, concerts, seminars, art festivals and dance performances are a regular feature here. Home of the Lakeshore Arts Alliance, a not-for-profit membership organization that is dedicated to serving the artistic needs and desires of the area, the Red Barn serves as their rehearsal and performance hall, education facility, club meeting hall and a gathering place.
