March 07, 2015 8:00 PM

Formed in Oakland, CA in 1968 and still actively performing and recording, you'd be hard-pressed to find a harder-working band than Tower of Power. The group's blend of funk, R&B and soul has kept audiences dancing for decades and the tasty big band style horn section is the icing on the cake.

»Aaron Lewis

March 07, 2015 8:00 PM

Aaron Lewis is the lead singer of the band Staind. Lewis formed Staind in Massachusetts, where he grew up, and even though the group was known for its hard rock sound they performed multiple acoustic shows. He had played solo shows prior to forming Staind, but didn't release his debut LP Town Line until 2011. His debut single "Country Boy" features a verse by George Jones and a spoken word segment by legendary fiddler Charlie Daniels. Tow Line presents audiences with a different side of Aaron Lewis, since he has written lyrics about the American heartland, instead of the miseries of life.

»The Blind Pets Featuring Dirty Few / Ghostfoot

March 12, 2015 10:00 PM

The Blind Pets is a rock trio from Austin, Texas that blends a number of psychedelic and stoner metal influences together to create a unique sonic tapestry. Comprised of guitarist and vocalist Joshua Logan, bassist Dustin Hannah and drummer Lee Stuart, the band played a high number of shows during its formative years and managed to become a popular draw in Austin's neo-psych music community.Though the group's debut album failed to properly capture The Blind Pets' cohesive method, the band's sophomore effort, 2009's Smashed, delivered a defining sonic documentation that has gone on to bring the trio hoards of new fans.
