Cindy's restaurant has been open for five years, and running smoothly -- until her investor, Steve, shows up. Steve has yet to see any return on his investment and confronts Cindy on the success of her business. As Cindy struggles to maintain the restaurant, we find out there is more to life than just work. Playwright Larry Bao's "Land of Plenty" is an exploration of priorities and personal fulfillment. This new drama is the inaugural production for Tiger in the Bush Theatre Company, a fledgling itinerant theater and media production co-founded by Bao and Alyson Calder.
When the world's greatest detective finds a stolen gem inside a Christmas goose, he and his trusty sidekick Dr. Watson set off on one of their patented adventures in "Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Christmas Goose". Based on one of Holmes creator Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's most popular stories -- "The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle" -- this festive comedy-mystery play is a charming holiday whodunit that follows the famous duo as they attempt to track down the mystery in Yuletide London. The show enjoyed a popular previous run as a live radio play, and returns for its fourth annual engagement at Raven Theatre in a fully staged production. Live musical accompaniment and a closing sing-along add to the show's merriment.
