»OK Go w/ guests

March 29, 2015 7:00 PM

Chicago natives OK Go were formed in 1998 by childhood friends Damian Kulash and Tim Nordwind who met at art camp when they were 11. Building up a reputation for catchy alternative-pop while playing as the house band for the television series This American Life, the band found fame with the release of its 2007 music video for "Here It Goes Again," which consisted entirely of a choreographed treadmill routine and received tremendous attention via YouTube. After garnering a Grammy for this video, the band had the world's attention and continues to create similarly catchy songs with creative videos today.

»League Of Wolves w/ Go For The Eyes and Guests ~ April 2/15

April 02, 2015 10:30 PM

League of WolvesThey started as small-town boys in an unknown group playing cover songs at open mics, but Saskatoon rockers League of Wolves have evolved into a well-respected touring band, playing high energy rock with a purpose. These four young men have spent two years building their reputation the old-fashioned way: with live shows and raw recordings. Their hardworking prairie values feed into eminently listenable rock influenced by Kings of Leon and Canadian rocker Sam Roberts.Go for the eyesGo For The Eyes founder Jeff Turner spent several years growing his band from the ground up in Calgary, Alberta before colliding with his musical soulmate, Elise Roller. After watching her mesmerize audiences as a solo artist, Turner would add Roller to the band in late 2009, setting the stage for a thrilling musical adventure to come.

»Marilyn Manson

April 06, 2015 7:30 PM

Ohio-born Marilyn Manson is often cited as being a negative influence on youth because his outlandish stage persona and controversial lyrics center around "shock rock" sensibilities. Behind all the excessive make up and immoral songs, though, lies a guy who knows exactly what he's doing. The very nature of his existence is polemic and the more attention Manson attracts, the more publicity he gets. So, in theory, the stranger he gets, the more widespread his image becomes. Though it's his image that has brought him notoriety, he is, in actuality, a musician with a very good ear--often discovering new artists and acting as producer for upcoming bands.

»Jeff The Brotherhood with Bully

April 07, 2015

Notorious for playing spontaneous rock shows on the rooftops of Nashville, brother Jake and Jamin Orall formed Jeff the Brotherhood in 2006 to channel its raucous energy into a garage-inspired indie rock project. Though the brothers had been releasing limited addition records and touring throughout the 2000s, Jeff the Brotherhood began to see national attention with the release of its fifth studio album Heavy Days, in 2009. The band captured a national audience with its stripped down rock and roll tinged with psych flourishes as well as industry attention that led to a collaborative EP with Best Coast and a live album released through Jack White's Third Man Records. In the subsequent years, Jeff the Brotherhood's media exposure skyrocketed with the band's television and major festival debuts as well as back to back studio albums in 2011 and 2012.
