    If you are the type who gets bored while waiting for your meal to be prepared, this is the perfect place to dine. Each table has a grill on it, and the chefs prepare the dishes directly in front of you. It is always great to watch them fling the food into your dishes with the accuracy of a diamond cutter. Great meat dishes are found here. Add plenty of sake to complement the food and great service for a great evening out. Highly recommended for its Teppan-yaki specialties, this is a classic, casual Japanese steakhouse popular with locals.

The Madhuban Thali is filling, tasty and has a fair representation of everything on the menu at a fixed price. The restaurant has an air of easygoing camaraderie that appeals to most diners. The service is also professional.

Also try the Teriyaki Mackerel or the Salmon. The decor is traditionally Japanese and the gracious and efficient waitresses are an added bonus. Lunch plates go for less than $10, and there are a variety of steamer baskets and donburi bowls. A pleasant and playful atmosphere predominates.

    The sushi and sashimi at Tsugaru Japanese Restaurant are excellent, and the staff is very friendly as well as efficient. You can order directly at the sushi bar or relax amidst lush plants and elegant bamboo room dividers. All the broiled fish dinners are quite tasty and are reasonably priced. You can also choose from many donburi dishes. The atmosphere is casual, though it can be somewhat loud, especially weekend evenings.

The ambiance at this family-owned place is casual, offering the best of Italian hospitality. Several seafood dishes are available, like prawns and crab in Pesto or steamed East Coast clams served over Linguine. The extensive menu also includes chicken dishes, pasta, pizzas and many salads. The decor has changed from lurid to proper Brit with memorabilia from the British Isles covering the walls. The pub has no television and counts on the witty banter of customers to supply the entertainment. It works. This small, friendly neighborhood joint attracts locals from all walks of life. It is perfect for winding down.

This no-nonsense restaurant is unpretentious and welcoming to all, serving a large menu of Italian dishes to quell the appetite. The Fried Calamari and Flat Iron Steak are wonderfully cooked and have strong flavors that are remembered for long afterwards. The Gnocchi Pesto, however, takes the cake with its melt in the mouth texture and tantalizing flavor. There is no bar, though one can bring in a bottle of alcohol for additional corkage fees. The patio outside is beautiful and breezy, facilitating a pleasant experience.
