Ole Hanson, co-founder of San Clemente city built Casa Romantica as a family residence in 1927. Now a cultural center, it offers special interest events such as art workshops, poetry sessions, lecture series and so forth.

This intimate theater was built in 1932, on the campus of the high school, and was renovated to provide state-of-the-art seating and technology. It can seat 450 people and has amazing acoustics and excellent sightliness. It is in close proximity to various restaurants and has ample parking on the street and in the parking lot across from it.
