Guy Forsyth is a perfect example of the rich and diverse hotbed of country, folk, blues and rock music that's been coming out of Austin, Texas for decades. A master of a number of instruments, ranging from ukulele to the singing saw, he's probably most known for his electric and slide guitar work, which channels some of the great American guitarists of all-time. His blues and country-tinged rock and roll is far-reaching in its influences, but unmistakably American. Whether performing on his own or with his backing band, Forsyth has done a fine job carrying on Austin's celebrated music community.
