The celebrated Salt Lake Hardware Building is an eminent edifice in Utah. This historical building is now transformed into a swanky venue that hosts weddings, receptions and similar events.
Occupying an impressive limestone structure built in 1905; this interactive museum offers the young and young-at-heart an entertaining look at the universe. An ideal reward for kids who behaved well while touring nearby Temple Square, the museum encourages participation with simulated space flights, star shows and dancing laser lights. Its Hansen Dome Theater boasts of over 200 seats and is the first of its kind to give viewers the pleasure of exploring the universe in three dimension without the use of glasses. The Utah Pickle Factory breathed new life into the historic building that was formerly occupied by the ARO Pickle Company. This 30,000 square-foot (2787 square-meter) space, located in the heart of downtown, plays host to an array of cultural programs. Contemporary and visual art exhibitions, film screenings, concerts, live music and theater productions comprise their eclectic schedule. This venue is also the home of The New Works Theatre Machine and showcases their work.
Abravanel Hall seats more than 2,700 people and has 12 wheelchair spaces. The Hall mainly hosts symphony performances concerts and special events. The interior of the hall has curved surfaces on the walls and the ceiling. Apart from being acoustically superb, the hall has beautiful brass chandeliers with Bohemian crystals.
