They're alive! More than 170 wax renderings collected at Potter's Wax Museum are on display—Hollywood stars, authors, scientists, artists, historic explorers and royalty. Potters was the first wax museum in the United States, and many years after its debut continues to offer both fun and education. Touring the "Chamber of Horrors" exhibit is optional. Potters has the only public real working wax studio. You'll also find a movie theater presentation and a museum shop here.
For a bird's-eye view of the oldest city in America, a parasailing trip will surely do the trick. Oldest City Fishing Guides provides light tackle and fly fishing along North Florida's coastal waters. All of the guides each offer at least 25 years of fishing experience along the North Florida. Much like in the movie that shares its name, this is a real World War II fighter pilot school. You actually take the controls of an authentic 1930s vintage Warbird! No previous pilot experience is required. Well-trained licensed pilots accompany you, and their job is to provide you with a safe, enjoyable flight. If you are ready to handle barrel-rolls, loops and other aerobatic maneuvers, ask about the World War II aerobatics package.
St. Augustine Beach is a city in its own right, along with Butler Beach, they both contain miles of coastline on beautiful Anastasia Island. The sands are a mix of coquina (crushed seashells) and white powder, a perfect combination with those warm waters in which Florida is known. St. Augustine Beach is also one of the few places in the state where you can witness sea turtles as well as gopher tortoises nest and hatch.
