CATS features young actors and technicians in every production. More than 20,000 patrons from across North Texas visit the theater each year. The professional-level productions often represent the first contact with live theater for many children in Dallas and Fort Worth communities. Portable sets and sound systems allow CATS touring groups the ability to present concerts and plays to PTAs, nursing homes, libraries, and various other community service organizations. The performing arts training received from CATS has led many alumnae to continue their art education at prestigious schools throughout the country, including the Boston Conservatory of Music and Harvard University. The school offers various levels of classes for ages four through adult, including acting, creative dramatics, musical theater, technical theater, tap, jazz, ballet and modern dance. Throughout the year, specialty workshops and private voice lessons are also available.

The stadium of the Dallas Cowboys, the city's NFL team, is a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility that was officially completed on May 29, 2009. It replaced the open-air Texas Stadium. Founded in 1981, Billy Bob's Texas offers enough room for 6,000 people to drink, play pool, play video games or dance to the live country music performed every night. Rodeo enthusiasts will enjoy the indoor arena where cowboys ride bucking bulls every weekend. Friday and Saturday night headliners are often among the biggest names in the industry, including Garth Brooks, Lee Ann Rimes, Hank Williams Jr. and Bob Hope. All have left hand prints, which are displayed in concrete around the club.
AMC Palace 9 features first run movies and is located in Fort Worth's exciting Sundance Square. With stadium seating, this theater can accommodate 1729 people in its nine theaters. In 1946, three women decided over coffee that it was time for Fort Worth to have an opera company. Seven months later, the Fort Worth Civic Opera Association launched its first performance.
