»Memorial Civic Center

If you are coming to Lubbock for some sort of large event, chances are that it will be held in the Memorial Civic Center. Dedicated to the people who lost their lives in the 1970 Lubbock Tornado, the Civic Center was constructed just after the tornado and showed the spirit and resilience of the people of Lubbock. Found inside Mackenzie Park, the Wells Fargo Amphitheater was built in 2006 and seats up to 1,600 audience members.
