Formerly known as the Alabama International Motor Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway hosts the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series twice a year. It is the best and most competitive motor sports facility that is spread over 3,000 acres. You don't just have to sit and watch cars zoom by! You can actually be a part of the thrill by joining the Pit Tour Club to watch the excitement or just rent the Hospitality Village Chalet so you can mix business with pleasure! Kids can have a day out too because there is a family park, so catch up on all the lost time! There's lots to do here so you can just zip over to this super speedway! Also watch out for events such as the Discount Food Mart Qualifying Day, Alabama Beef Producers Qualifying Day or the UAW-Food 500 that will pop up in the coming months.
Argo Drive-In Theatre was built in 1998 and can accommodate up to 211 cars in its three acres (1.21 hectares) land. Open every Friday and Saturday, it shows mostly family-friendly movies at a very nominal fee of USD10. So bring your popcorn and drinks to enjoy an entertaining flick with your whole gang under the stars.

Barber Motorsports Park is a plush racing arena that hosts many racing events and auto shows. Opened in 2003, the park has also seen many car launches. The park offers ace facilities like paved paddocks, restrooms, technical enhancements and so on. Several championships, festivals and consumer shows are held here. The notable racing events here are Grand-Am, Vintage Racing Series and AMA Superbike. So if cars, speed and races give you the thrills then zoom into this place.
Located just six miles southeast of downtown, the Birmingham Race Course offers live greyhound racing, simulcast dog and horse racing from other sites, two restaurants and wagering seven nights per week. The track and grandstand areas are comfortable and entertaining. Champions Restaurant offers a full menu of appetizers, entrees and desserts in an elegant setting. There are also lots of options for more informal dining, and alcoholic beverages are served at several spots throughout the park.
