Created by the Junior Women's Club and the Women's Club of Panama City in 1967, the Junior Museum of Bay County opened in 1969 and moved to its current location in 1981. It sits on 12 acres full of fun for the whole family, from its 1500 foot boardwalk and nature trail, to its very own pioneer settlement. Learn about your body at the Body Works exhibit, then take a trip through time and explore real pioneer buildings from the 1800s. The museum offers programs for kids of all ages, including summer camps, classes for younger children, birthday parties, and its great for field trips. General Admission is USD3 for non-members, while members get in free.
The St Andrew's marina is the focal point of the former village of St. Andrew's, once a separate town but now a charming neighborhood just west of downtown. The small marina, just a block from the main intersection of St. Andrew's at Beck and 11th St, features several local charter companies for fishing and boating trips as well as a few local favorite restaurants.
