Straight No Chaser (SNC) is an American vocal group from Bloomington, Indiana. The group's name is taken from a jazz piece by Thelonious Monk. It began as a cappella group at Indiana Univsersity in 1996. The group performed both modern and traditional songs on campus and beyond, and finally signed a record deal with Atlantic Records in 2008. The SNC is still also in rotation at the university, as a separate entity. The group has even performed at Carnegie Hall. Both groups perform popular pop songs as well as musical ballads.

When attending a Monster Jam event, spectators can enjoy two thrilling competitions: a race where these giant trucks are pitted head to head on a track to see who has the speed and skill to be first and the freestyle competition where trucks perform stunts and tricks in an open arena. Pit/Track parties is great incentive to come early. During these parties, the general public can come up close and personal to these giant machines, the crew it takes to keep these machines running and the brave drivers who keep the excitement brimming.
