The Velvet Bar in the Hard Rock Hotel is a music lounge where upcoming artists play looking for a break. The bar specializes in martinis, try the signature pop rocks martini. The monthly cocktail party known as The Velvet Sessions features live music by famous rock bands, interesting cocktails and tasty snacks. The bar is famous with couples and with singles looking to hook up as well. The bar has a very bohemian feel to it but is plush and cozy at the same time. Opens from Monday to Sunday at 4p.

From the obligatory gift store (full of official NBA merchandise, of course) to a playground stocked with the latest interactive video games, NBA City has all the things sports fans drool over and probably a few more. Surprisingly, that includes the food. While most theme restaurants are content to let the food take a backseat to the decor, this one does its best to please with its menu, as well. From savory appetizers to satisfying entrees, this place isn't just for sports fans; but it doesn't hurt to be one.
Any Simpson's fan will recognize the name Moe's Tavern. Located within Universal Studios, the bar is a real-life recreation of the bar in the popular TV series. The dive bar features iconic favorites like Duff Beer, Krusty Burgers and Flaming Moes. Fans can watch Simpson's reruns on the televisions inside, seat themselves at a red vinyl booth as they pick their favorite combo. Check out the Love Tester Machine, Barney Gumble statue and random red phones which are scattered around the bar, ringing occasionally with Simpson's prank calls. Visiting the bar provides plenty of photo ops to show off to envious friends and Simpson's fans.
