Bars & Cafes
White Wolf Café has remained a favorite for two reasons: fun décor and good food. Stained-glass windows, Tiffany-style hanging lamps and decorative crockery set the stage, and on weekend nights, patrons pop in for coffee, dessert or a drink. Live music, usually acoustic, is offered on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. The menu offers a wide selection, from vegetarian and other low-calorie offerings to a calories-be-darned Three-Cheese Lasagna. Chicken Brioche and Thin-Crust White Pizza are popular options.
The Imperial at Washburn Imports, located north of Downtown Orlando in the Ivanhoe Village area, is not the typical bar by any means. Guest can relax in the outside area, take a seat at the bar or any of the numerous tables available inside, or else stroll around this impressive store as they sip on drinks. While yellow remains the stand-out color for the lighting, the subtle use of pink and green in its seating and decor makes this nightclub aptly named as Peacock Lounge. Drinks are always available and the music, be it live or through a DJ, remains the lounge's ultimate drawing point. Opened in 2001, the club has soon grown to be a firm favorite amongst Orlando natives, winning various awards for its martini and gallery on show.
