Richard Melville Hall, who performs and releases music under his moniker Moby, is a singer/songwriter and DJ who is probably best known for the attention he received in the 1990s for his electronica and house-influenced work, most notably his 1999 LP, Play.Having written music that touches on a myriad of varied styles including folk, techno, rock and ambient, Moby has proven himself as a versatile musician who's capable of working within nearly any genre paradigm. Though Moby proves his dramatic range as a musician on his studio efforts, during live performances and DJ sets, he will typically stick to straightforward electronic material, frequently shifting between intense breakcore beats and more relaxed downtempo grooves.

The Second City 55th Anniversary Tour

From Dan Ackroyd to Stephen Colbert to Tina Fey, Chicago-founded improv comedy enterprise The Second City has been a training ground for some of the funniest minds in entertainment. Notable alumni (including dozens of "Saturday Night Live" cast members) cut their teeth performing at Second City's famous revues, during which semi-improvised and scripted scenes are acted out alongside new material developed on the spot based on audience suggestions. To celebrate its 55th year of political and social satire, the troupe once called "The First Family of Comedy" is sending its touring company full of new blood on the road with a historic show featuring classic sketches made famous by names such as Jim Belushi, Gilda Radner and Steve Carell, along with contemporary comedy and made-up-on-the-spot goodness.

IAN is the solo moniker of Boston-based artist Jilian Medford, a Los Angeles native who began playing music under her high school nickname when she started studying at Berklee College of Music. After releasing her first EP Have You Ever Loved Anything This Much?, in 2013, she teamed up with drummer Tim Cheney and bassist Damien Scalise to turned IAN into a trio. The band collected a following around the New England area with shows and a string of heartbreaking singles before dropping a self-titled EP in 2014.
