Traditional breakfast favorites, such as sausage and eggs or biscuits and gravy, are served early each morning. For lunch, try the hot meatloaf sandwich or a patty melt. The dinner menu offers pork chops and top sirloin, served with vegetables, potatoes, a dinner roll and dessert.
This restaurant's name means coconut and lime. The informal dining venue offers foods with the distinct flavor of the Mexican region from which it derives its name. Hosting a few booths and one order counter, the local hot spot is casual, with a jukebox playing Latino music and a television showing Spanish telenovelas. Located a few blocks from the beach, Santino's Pizza is located in a small shopping center where a few tables and chairs offer guests a chance to indulge in pizza and other menu items. They serve appetizers like hot wings, garlic bread, and Cinnapuffs (baked pizza dough cut into bite-size pieces and tossed with cinnamon and sugar). Along with various sandwiches and salads, they also serve pizzas with choices of various meats, cheeses, and veggies. Patrons walk down a wooden bridge to get to this diner, a singular building located at the end of the pier. In the tradition of a 1950s diner, burgers and fries top the menu. Try the Ruby Dooby Double Cheeseburger. Remember to try the fountain treats! Oreo shakes, root beer floats and vanilla cokes are just a few of the options.
Harney Sushi – Oceanside is a contemporary sushi restaurant, offering more than two dozen distinct creations such as Chuck Norris---spicy crab and shrimp tempura topped with tuna, avocado, eel sauce and green onions. Other Asian influenced small plates along with some traditional Japanese dishes and main dishes like chicken teriyaki and Dr. Pepper steak feature on the menu.
Oceans Eleven Casino, a card-playing casino is for folks who remember the Rat Pack of old with Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Joey Bishop and Peter Lawford. Huge murals of the original pack line the walls of this casino where locals gather to play card games of chance including Pan, Pai Gow, Blackjack and Poker. Live entertainment is provided in the Rat Pack Lounge on Wednesday through Sunday evenings. Dinner is served nightly with retro-flair.
