On April 28, Metropolitan Social Services-Planning & Coordination/Social Data Analysis will release its 6th Annual Community Needs Evaluation for Davidson County.   You are invited to join this event to learn more about Nashville's poverty and unmet needs.  Brief presentations will describe the findings of the newest needs evaluation: Demographic/Social/Socioeconomic DataPovertyAging & DisabilityFood & NutritionHealth & Human DevelopmentHousing & NeighborhoodsWorkforce & Economic Opportunity The Extent and Shape of Nashville's Poverty event will also include a panel of local housing experts to discuss issues related to the lack of affordable housing.  Each participant will receive a copy of the Executive Summary of the 2014 Community Needs Evaluation. Registration and light refreshments will be at 9:30 am.  The event will begin at 10 am and will end no later than 12:30 pm. Parking at the Nashville Public Library parking lot will be validated (no cost to participants). Advance registration is required by April 15.  No printed ticket is necessary for those who have registered in advance.
