Formed in 1967 under the original name Del McCoury and the Dixie Pals, the Nashville-based Del McCoury Band went through a steady progression of lineup changes, remaining fairly unknown until the 1980s, when the group officially became Del McCoury Band and added McCoury's two sons to the lineup. Rooted in bluegrass traditions, the group finally came to the public's attention after working with Steve Earle and its Grammy nomination. Since then, Del McCoury Band has incorporated more jam band stylings into its live performances and plays regularly with funk group The Lee Boys.

Tony and Jaime joined forces professionally in January 2013. In October 2013, they released their first single as a duo to iTunes, Take It to the House." They've spent most of this year writing for their debut EP to be released to iTunes in October 2014. "We're old souls," says Tony, "So we wanted to create something that sounded like music we love and grew up with. We don't have a label or anyone telling us what we can and cannot record, so we just wanted to be real and be ourselves."

Along with producer Jimmy Dulin(he produced "Take It to the House" & "Shut Up & Love Me") and engineer Todd Tidwell, Pierce Avenue produced and created a project they are truly proud of!

The EP, recorded at Starstruck Studios, features 5 tracks all co-written by Pierce Avenue along with writers James Breedwell, Marcum Stewart, Jason Sever, Rachel Thibodeau, Michael Elsner, and Helene Cronin.
"We're married, so our songs reflect real life situations," states Jaime. "It's not just a party for us, we go through good times and bad times, so it's okay to have a song like, 'Shut Up & Love Me' that talks about a couple having a fight, but wanting to work it out. We truly believe there are people out there that want to still hear songs about real life, and we're going to be the group that's not afraid to put that out there! What you see, is what you get with us! You feel our love and passion for our songs when we're on stage."

Look for Pierce Avenue's debut EP on iTunes October 21, 2014, & keep watch, this duo has only just begun!

Bobby Long started writing songs at his home in London when he was 17. After graduating from University, he gathered his things and moved to New York City, which he'd become fascinated with because of Bob Dylan's connection to the area. Long released his 2011 debut, A Winter Tale with the help of Grammy award-winning producer/engineer, Liam Watson, who'd previously worked with the White Stripes. Fame came around the same time when Long wrote a song for the actor Robert Patterson to sing in the successful box-office film, Twilight.
