Situated in the beautiful 90 acres (36.4217 hectares) grassland, Kuenz Sculpture Park is an open-air art gallery. You can witness the beautiful sculptures from veteran artists like Alexander Lieberman, Chakaia Booker, Fletcher Benton and many more. Its ‘Dancers’ and ‘Self Acclaimed or Fallen’ artworks have gained many awards and accolades, making this place a must visit spot.
Lincoln Statue is located in front of the Appellate Courthouse which is situated at the center of Mount Vernon. This nine-feet bronze statue was built in the memory of the late president Abraham Lincoln in 2008. The late president who practiced as a lawyer in his initial days, tried his only case in the Appellate Courthouse, hence making it a perfect spot for his remembrance.
The history of Appellate Courthouse can be traced back to the later half of 1800s when it was built. This court house features the Greek Revival architecture and its interiors are adorned with vintage-style furnishings. This beautiful structure functions as a court and is a must-visit spot for architecture and art enthusiasts.
