Half-Japanese musical wunderkind, Justin Nozuka, started writing and recording music when he was 15, while attending an international boarding school in Ontario, Canada. Nozuka brings his light R&B crooning voice and breezy pop sensibilities to his often painfully earnest singer/songwriter style odes to love and loss.

In the hard-boiled tradition of Humphrey Bogart's Sam Spade (and Steve Martin's Rigby Reardon), Johnny Tewtones is just another gumshoe trying to keep his belly full and his nose clean. A perfect blend of pitch-black noir and sparkling screwball comedy, "Silver Screen Slayer" starts when a sultry Hollywood dame hires Johnny to solve her own murder. Turns out somebody's picking off every actress cursed with playing the lead role in "Matahari's Revenge" -- but how can Johnny solve the crime in a town filled with professional liars?

Formed in New Jersey in 1980, Overkill was part of the American thrash metal community that spawned bands such as Metallica, Anthrax, Megadeth and Slayer. Although it would never reach the same commercial peaks and worldwide success as its counterparts, Overkill nevertheless has done well for itself over the years. The band has experienced a number of lineup changes, but lead singer Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth and bass player D.D. Verni have remained as core members. Overkill's music falls in line with most all the familiar characteristics of thrash metal, from the rapid fire riffing to the intense and powerful musicianship. Still going strong, the band continues to tour and now has around 15 albums to its credit.

William Michael Griffin Jr. is a New York native and rapper known as Rakim. After rising to recognition as one-half of the duo Eric B. & Rakim during the early 1990's golden age of hip-hop, he released his solo debut, The 18th Letter, in 1997. He signed to Dr. Dre's imprint Aftermath Entertainment in 2000, but after wrestling the label for creative control of his first album, he opted out of his contract only three years later, leaving his record on the shelf as he went. Weary of the music business, he retreated Connecticut and continued to work on his craft at a leisurely pace. The album he recorded with Aftermath, titled The Seventh Seal, was eventually dropped in 2009, and Rakim continues to record and release his own material.
