It is a county park and historical museum located in Lowell, Indiana, and is operated by Lake County Parks. It is said to have been built by the Buckleys, who were Irish immigrants to the country. After four generations lived there, they donated the farm to the Lake County Parks in the year 1977. The park has a visitors' center, house museum, the farm and a garden. Many events are held annually including the World War II tributary event and the legendary Sleepy Hollow. It is open for public visits every day year round.

The Two 18-hole Bent grass courses, Port and Starboard, at Harborside International Golf Center are open to the public. Even though this is a public course, many consider it as fine as the best private courses. This place offers various facilities. Green fees on a weekday for a 18-hole is USD65; gas carts are included. Tee times are accepted up to 14 days in advance. There is a dress policy - no denim and collared shirt. Bermuda shorts are required.
This Sports Center is named after the renowned Chicago business tycoon, Jacoby D. Dickens. Completely equipped with all the sports facilities like the gymnasium,basketball and volleyball courts,training and locker rooms; the center has 2500 seats for the spectators.
