»The Deslondes | The Banditos | Twain

The Deslondes is a self described "country-soul, swamp-boogie" band that's based out of New Orleans.Though the group was founded in 2010, it spend its formative years playing small venues and clubs before entering the studio to record its 2012 debut album, Holy Cross Blues. As the group continues to expand is fan base as its touging regime gets further and further away from its native New Orleans, The band's notoriety will no doubt only continue to grow.

»An Evening Of Award Winning Movie Music

March 06, 2015 7:30 PM

Based in New Orleans, The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 1991 and remains the only full-time professional orchestra in the Gulf South. Led by Music Director Carlos Miguel Prieto, the company offers a 36 week concert season that includes a variety of classical pieces, contemporary compositions and casual classics as well as family, education and outreach concerts. Since Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the members were forced to perform at a different location due to the flooding of its longtime base, the Orpheum Theater. Nevertheless, the orchestra had continued to move forward, raising awareness of the disaster and using it to fuel its contemporary classical sound.
