Center for the Arts at George Mason University puts on Great Performances and is associated with the College of Visual and Performing Arts. This college believes exploring each art as an individual discipline and gaining in depth information about interdisciplinary forms. They work with the knowledge that education is enhanced when you come in contact with artists through their work, lectures, demonstrations and other creative endeavors. The Center for the Arts is a part of this college and does productions, presentations, and exhibitions for the various departments here and the Great Performances at Mason.
Formerly known as the Prince William County Stadium because of its location in the Prince William County government complex, G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium is a baseball field and home to the Potomac Nationals minor league baseball team. The stadium was built in the year 1984 and has a seating capacity for 6,000 spectators and has hosted several league games and practice sessions of Potomac.
