Built and designed in 1885, the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse was refurbished in 1908. It was done carefully so as to preserve its old world charm while simultaneously modernizing it. Keeping original elements such as the 4-story belfry, turret door, Palladian windows and false fireplaces intact, this courthouse is truly a gem. For a slice of the Middle Ages, the Medieval Times - Atlanta Castle is the perfect place to go with your family and friends. Experience the action at this dinner and show facility where six knights combat with swords and display expert horsemanship set in Medieval Spain. Explore the Hall of Arms and the torture museum. A 22-acre lake is surrounded by open space, three picnic pavilions a 0.8-mile paved multipurpose trail, one playground as well as seven baseball/softball fields, and a football field overlay. The The Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center (GEHC) lies in the city of Buford in Georgia, United States. This center is a heritage and environment facility and contains walking trails and green spaces. The lovely establishment contains a green roof which is the largest sloped vegetative roof in the Southeast region. One can sign up for group tours and visit their heritage sites that include old farmhouses, post office and a mill.
This park was the site of a train depot in the 1840s, and an old caboose still sits on the property for you to explore. There is a mile-long trail that winds through 17 wooded acres, up to a flowing creek and back to the entrance. The park also features tennis and volleyball courts, as well as a playground and a picnic site. Leashed pets are welcome. Take Interstate 85 north to Pleasant Hill Road, turn left (west) and continue for about a couple miles to get here.

Celebrated Elisha Winn House is situated across the Dacula Road and was erected in 1812. Included in the National Register of Historic Places, every year, around October, it hosts the Elisha Winn fair. It currently comes under the purview of Gwinnett Historical Society.

This family amusement center offers many activities for the whole family to enjoy such as a miniature golf course, bumper boats, batting cages, a gameroom, and an Indy style go-kart racing track.
Touted as one of the largest Hindu temples outside India, the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir is a beauty to behold. Dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan, it is constructed from Italian Carrara marble, pink sandstone and Turkish limestone. It consists of a sanctum-sanctorum surrounded by five pillars symbolizing the Himalayan mountains. The architecture has a fine detailing. Many community activities are organized here.
