We are very excited to announce our new event: The Southern Table, a Best of the South Food & Drink event. The inaugural show will be held on March 27th-29th, 2015 in Knoxville, TN at the Knoxville Convention Center. This event will bring together a sampling of the best food and drink that the South has to offer, in a fun and lively atmosphere. We have been laying the ground work for the last couple of years as we realized that many of the best Southern brands have been hidden gems that are waiting to be discovered by a larger audience. We want to feature those Southern food and culinary products, alongside the wealth of great beers, wines and distilleries in the region. As a companion event to the nationally recognized International Biscuit Festival, we know so many great companies and individuals who are creating incredible products that express the culture and heritage of the South. Many of those brands have become a part of the Festival, but we wanted to have an event that showcased the products. We expect 5,000 to 10,000 guests will attend the three day event. This will give you the opportunity to tell your story, while sampling and selling your products to an audience that loves Southern food and drink. We will also include trade representatives, food writers and other members of the Southern food scene. Our goal is to bring together the makers and the consumers in a fun event that celebrates Southern products and creates great exposure for your brands. We look forward to seeing you at The Southern Table.

Despite jazz being lauded as "musicians' music," there really hasn't been much innovation within the genre. The Bad Plus is an exception. The trio from Minneapolis, Minnesota has a unique approach to playing jazz and unlike other contemporary jazz acts, The Bad Plus isn't afraid to incorporate modern songwriting elements into its songs. The band has even played covers of songs from rock bands like Queen, The Pixies, Rush and Interpol.

Born in the New York no-wave scene of the early 1980s, Swans is a post punk band led by singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Michael Gira. Though the band remained a well kept secret of the underground music scene, the group went on to influence several experimental and art rock groups in the subsequent decades. With spooky instrumentals and baneful vocals, Swans creates an extremely menacing style of music that has been kept alive by its cult-like following. Though the band has experienced a large amount of line up changes and even broke up in 1997, Swans reformed in 2010 and began to once again spread its no wave sound to a new generation of fans.

Comprised of Jason Hann and Michael Travis, the respective percussionist and drummer for the jam band String Cheese Incident, EOTO (pronounced: e-oh-tow) improvise 100% of all their stage material and use cutting edge technology as well as instruments to create a melodic style of dance music. The duo was formed in 2007 and by incorporating elements of electronic music into live compositions the two have managed to create a mind warbling style of futuristic dance floor music some refer to as dubtronica.
