    Opened as a french bistro, The Tomato Head later developed into an eating joint specializing in incredible pizzas, sandwiches, salads and other foods prepared with the 'freshest' ingredients available. The restaurant gradually blossomed into a cultural hub and it now is the venue for poetry readings, performance art, and monthly shows that give center stage to local artists. The restaurant offers a variety of pizzas with an array of toppings to the customers. It even caters to the more conscious customer, serving  pizzas made with organic tofu and soy cheese. Customers can even make their own pizzas or calzones, thus choosing only that which they like or want. Besides pizza, the restaurant also serves sandwiches, burritos and quesadillas, all made with fresh ingredients. There is also a 'Kids' Menu' that caters to the palettes of the younger customers. Some of the dishes offered by this menu are Simon Plate, Pasta Plate and Ketchup Pizza. The restaurant also offers a 'Sunday Brunch' that is served between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
