This family owned brewery is located right in Katy and specializes in unique ales and lagers. Some of the creative beers No Label creates include the Don Jalapeño Ale, Mint IPA and the Black Wit-O dark wheat beer along with the usual suspects of Pale Ale, Hefeweizen, and Amber Ales among others. Saturday afternoons the brewery opens for tours where the admission price gets you a four ounce glass and four drink tokens to sample the goods.
There is certainly plenty to do at Katy City Park. Kids and adults can play a round of miniature golf or try to catch the big one in the fishing lake. Of course, no park is complete without a couple of playgrounds to tumble around on. An old Katy Railroad depot, complete with a caboose, makes the day complete. Be sure and bring along a cooler and some picnic supplies to take care of your hunger pangs. You will want to stay a while.

Named after the massive water oaks found in the neighborhood, the Oak Meadow Park is a scenic parkland in the Bridgeland Community. Spanning across 30 acres (12.14 hectares), this idyllic greenland is the starting point of the Cypress Creek Nature Trail and offers many picnic tables, a buoyant pier on the lake for fishing, a festival park, a disc golf course and a concert pavilion. It is also the home of the annual Nature Fest which is a popular local event.

Edith Moore herself lived on this land for 43 years. In 1978 she donated a small section to the Houston Audubon Society for use as a nature preserve for birds. Her husband even built the little log cabin that was renovated to house the headquarters, bookstore, and gift shop of the Audubon Society. Donations are appreciated.

Located on Fifth Street, in Richmond city of Fort Bend County in Texas, the John M. and Lottie D. Moore is home to the Fort Bend Museum complex. Constructed in 1883, the structure depicts the Victorian and Classic Revival styles of architecture, and is an elegant sight. It is predominantly a two-storied, wood-frame house with its extravagant front facade and porch. Gaining tremendous historic significance over the years, the site made it to the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.
