    »Aaron Watson

    October 03, 2014 10:00 PM

Amarillo, Texas born country singer Aaron Watson had aspirations of becoming a baseball player before deciding to switch gears and focus on music during junior college. He found inspiration from old gospel records and the work of outlaw country artists such as Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard. The results his career has yielded thus far, however, would fit more comfortably in the pop-country genre, with polished and catchy songs full of the kind of nostalgic and lovesick lyrics modern country fans go nuts for.

    October 04, 2014 7:00 PM

Remember "that guy" in high school that would roam the halls with his guitar strumming chords and running over various scale progressions? Well, Zac Brown was one of those guys. After he became an adept guitar player, Brown decided to form a country music ensemble and for lack of a better name, he decided to call his group the Zac Brown Band. The country-friendly outfit managed to land a respectable recording contract in 2008 and since then the group has found a large fan base in America's heartland that enjoys Brown's modern take on simple country tunes.

    »Mötley Crüe

    October 11, 2014 7:00 PM

If you lived on the Sunset Strip in Los Angles during the late 1980s you undoubtedly knew the guys from Motley Crue. The hard living life style that characterized Hollywood in the 1980s was perfectly manifested in the group and the band partied extremely hard--flippantly breaking laws and abusing drugs. Despite a period of time apart, playing in various other musical endeavors, the Crue is back and despite being a bit older, the band still plays as hard as ever.

    October 14, 2014 8:00 PM

Formed in Los Angeles in 1995, Buckcherry is a rock band that received commercial success with its 1999 self-titled debut album. Despite its early boost in record sales, the band dissolved in 2002 after a disappointing sophomore effort and an unfinished third album. During the hiatus, front man Josh Todd and guitarist Kieth Nelson collaborated on other projects including a short run with Guns N' Roses members that was eventually canned. Todd and Nelson reformed Buckcherry in 2005 and released the album 15 to the same enthusiasm and critical acclaim as the band's debut effort. With its rediscovered success, the band toured as part of Mötley Crüe's Crüe Fest, shortly after releasing Black Butterlfy in 2008, and accompanied KISS on its 2009 to 2010 North American tour. Buckcherry dropped its fifth studio album All Night Long, in 2010.
