    Café Tacuba is an alternative rock group from Mexico that has remained an integral part of the Latin rock scene since forming in 1989. Creating a sound for itself that dips from traditional Hispanic genres as well as more modern rock styles, Café Tacuba has become a favorite for individuals who seek out interesting Mexican bands that push the boundaries of what is typically accepted of them. Though the group's popularity peeked sometime in the mid-1990s, it has nevertheless carried on and managed to grow into a stalwart act of the Mexican rock music scene.

    Based on Bram Stroker's 1897 Gothic novel of the same name, Dracula is a stage production centered on a British solicitor who travels to Transylvania to help settle the estate of a count named Dracula. When the count is revealed to be a vampire, he takes the solicitor, Jonathan Harker, as a prisoner in his castle. As Dracula begins to hunt down Harker's fiance, a vampire hunter from Amsterdam intervenes and ventures into Dracula's castle to hunt him down and free his prisoner. The famed supernatural tale was first brought to the stage in 1924, and the play was a hit with American audiences, launching the career of Hungarian actor Bela Lugosi. Dracula has since been reprised in multiple stage and film versions, capturing the imaginations of audiences generation after generation.

    Amaranthe is a melodic death metal band that formed in Gothenburg, Sweden in 2008. Originally named Avalanche, the group was forced to change its name after it lost a copyright lawsuit, soon after settling on Amaranthe. The pummeling double bass drum rhythms and growling vocal style of death metal is present in the group's music, but with the addition of vocalist Elize Ryd, so is a distinct pop element that has helped make the band a hit in its native home and around the world. Amaranthe's self-titled debut album was released in 2011.
