Headhunterz is the moniker of Dutch electronic music producer Willem Rebergen. Formerly known as Nasty D-Tuners, he rose to recognition in the mid-2000s after his DJ set at Defqon.1 Festival, the Netherland's major hardstyle event, when he grabbed the attention of fellow Dutch producer The Prophet. With a hard EDM sonic aesthetic, Headhunterz signed with The Prophet's imprint Scantraxx and quickly started his own sublabel, Scantraxx Reloaded, in 2006. He has since continued to spread his sound with an ardent touring schedule and a steady stream of releases, including both of his 2013 records, Colors and United Kids of the World.

    One Direction

Comprised of five young men, One Direction is an English band that first rose to fame after it competed on the popular British talent show X Factor. Though the group didn't win the competition, it managed to come in third place and showcase its music and style to a large televised audience. Quick to follow up with its popularity in lieu of its appearance on X Factor, One Direction released its debut album, Up All Night, in 2011. The album--a polished pop effort that showcases the vocal talents of each member-- performed quite respectably on the British music charts and as the band continues to release more studio material and tour, it's popularity will no doubt continue to grow.

    Matt Caldwell
    Cypress SaloonAugust 22, 2014 8:00 PM
    12710 Telge Road
    Cypress, TX 77429
Raised on the outskirts of Dallas, close enough to see the city lights reflected in the sky at night, but seemingly a world away, Matt Caldwell's childhood was typical for someone in a small Texas town.

Growing up in Nevada, TX (pop. 854), Matt started singing in church at an early age, but by high school, as happens with many young men in small-town Texas, sports became the focus of his after-school interests. He played baseball, basketball and was the starting quarterback of the football team. But by his senior year, music was creeping back into his life. Matt gave up sports to front a band called "Texas' Most Wanted". They played in the little dive bars in town and the surrounding areas and eventually made their way to the larger clubs and festivals.

After a few years on the road, Matt knew writing songs and playing music was what he wanted to do with his life, it was his passion, it was in his blood.

Matt made a decision to move to Nashville, but like so many of the multitudes who made the same move to chase a dream, he soon found himself caught in the balancing act of trying to break into country music while at the same time making a living. "Sometimes it's hard to find gigs and put on a good show when you've been out in the hot sun working construction all day," says Caldwell. Continuing to work on his craft of songwriting after a day's work, as well as becoming more and more natural onstage while continuing to make fans and friends by the dozens, Matt also began taking his music back to his home state of Texas.

His easiness in front of a crowd, approachability and honest-to-goodness humble nature makes it hard to tell who is having more fun…the audience or Matt. He is currently on the road spending a lot of time playing throughout Texas showing fans his version of country music. Matt Caldwell is on the cusp of something big.

    Houston, TX 77079
The trio of Texans known as The Mighty Orq combines timeless sounding classic rock, catchy pop melodies, Matt R. Johnson's mashing drum lines and powerhouse guitar riffs. The group's music, led by surprisingly sentimental lyrics by guitarist Mighty Orq and bassist Terry Glen Dry, can be traced back to influences like ZZ Top and Kings X. The band's debut album, Milk Money, released in 2005, found critical acclaim in the United States and abroad in the UK. With the help of celebrated producer Ben Elliot, who has worked with legends Eric Clapton and Keith Richards, The Mighty Orq's sound was noticeably sharper on its 2008 album, To The Bone. After a 2011 release of a live recordings album, The Mighty Orq has continued to gain celebrity status in its hometown of Houston, while also reaching widespread audiences.
