The Mid-America Science Museum has permanent displays that date back to the 1980s. The exhibits include Underground Arkansas Cave, Matter Island, Earth Science and so forth. Apart from that, the museum also hosts events and temporary exhibitions.
The Reynolds Science Center Planetarium offers unique and entertaining shows about the skies and offers visitors the opportunity to view many celestial objects using state-of-the-art telescopes. The planetarium also houses a small museum highlighting the history of space exploration, astronomy in today's culture and has many hands-on activities and displays. Shows are open to the public Thursday thru Saturday 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. School shows are Mon-Fri by reservation.
Visitors can watch the various nut brittles being cooked, poured and stretched one batch at a time.Open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday thru Friday and 9 a.m.-1 p.m.on Saturday.
