Lakewood Landing is more upscale than they care to admit. Everyone in town knows the babe behind the bar. Lucille, working on her 31st year at the Landing, is more legendary than the mermaid mural on the side of the building. Tables and a few booths provide a place to munch on burgers or kick back a beer or two. A jukebox with hits from the 1970s to the 1990s provides entertainment when live events aren't scheduled. If billiards is your hobby, you're sure to find a game here. Typical bar menu with burgers, nachos and fried everything. The telltale sign that this is not any old hole-in-the-wall is the veggie burger on the menu. The chicken-fried steak is wonderful for those not counting calories.

Terilli's has some of the best live jazz music in the Metroplex. Although this place is great for a date, the business crowd is also well represented. During lunch and after-work hours the restaurant is nearly full. Any of the traditional Italian dishes are wonderful with a glass of wine chosen from the impressive wine list. Terilli's is well known for the Italchos, Italian nachos with a wide variety of toppings to choose from.

Old Crow is a dive turned popular college hangout with a variety of live music venues. From modern street art on the walls down to the wood floor, you'll find a little bit of everything here. Acts include local rockabilly bands and DJs that play anything from psychedelic tunes to top alternative hits. The Old Crow is so popular that it's sometimes hard to find a place to stand, much less sit.
