The H. H. Hickok House was built by the capitalist H. H. Hickok in the 1870s in Terrell. This house has a French- style roof and represents the architectural design of Texas. There are many tales revolving round this house including the tragic deaths of its owners.
Ben Gill Park is a 100 acre (40.46 hectare) park located in the city of Terrell. It has vast expanses of lush green areas with a majestic lake, nine soccer fields, a large pavilion with grills, a few picnic tables, and fireplace. There is a baseball complex, a tennis and volleyball court as well. Visit this lovely park to relax and take a look at this historic railroad car.
Midland Railroad #993 El Paso Rail Car is the private car of E.H.R. “Ned” Green, the President of the Midland Railroad. This historical gasoline powered car was first operated in the year 1899 and is now on display within the Ben Gill Park.
Robert Adams Terrell House is an old house built in the year 1860, that is located on the Southern Christian College campus. This historical state and national landmark, was the house of Robert Adams, who was a military officer.
Standing by the Lake Coleman, Coleman Park is a picturesque expanse with excellent outdoor opportunities. The park has a popular 2.5 miles (4.02 hectares) walking trail as well as sports facilities like baseball fields, tennis courts, fishing pier and more.
