Often stylized as SOiL, Soil is an American rock band that emerged out of Chicago, Illinois, in 1997. The band saw its breakthrough year in 2001 when Pat Lynch of Orlando, Florida, rock radio station WJRR began playing the demo of "Halo" in heavy rotation, catalyzing a major label bidding war. Soil landed with RCA Records division J Records, in 2001, and released its debut album,Scars, later the same year. Though the band has hopped between labels since the mid 2000s, it continues to drop records, including 2013's Whole.

    September 25, 2014 7:30 PM

Brian Regan is a family-friendly comedian who has made a name for himself through multiple specials on Comedy Central and over 20 appearances on the Late Show with David Letterman. »Joey Cape (Lagwagon) w/ Chris Cresswell (flatliners) & Brian Wahlstrom

    September 30, 2014 8:00 PM

Formed in Santa Barbara, California, Lagwagon is a punk rock/skate punk band that fed off the growing interest in punk rock and skateboarding in Southern California during the 1990s. The band recorded its album Duh, in four days before relasing the debut in 1992. After releasing its sophomore effort Trashed in 1994 while several punk bands were entering the mainstream, Lagwagon opted to stay with its independent label Fat Wreck Chords, turning down a number of major label deals. Following a short hiatus that lasted from 2000 to 2002, the band released two more albums before front man Joey Cape launched a solo career and Lagwagon was once again put on hold. Despite several line up changes, including the departure of its original bassist Jesse Buglione, Lagwagon has maintained its underground fanbase throughout its career. The band released a box-set of its first five albums and embarked on a world tour in 2011.

»Kopecky Family Band w/ Coin, Space Magic & Sweetalk

    October 03, 2014 8:00 PM

The Kopecky Family Band may not be related by blood but there's definitely a family vibe to their easygoing style of twee, country-tinged indie rock. The band trades off call and response boy-girl vocals over a bed of guitars, drums, bass, cello and violin. From their beginnings inside a practice room at Belmont University, the Kopecky Family Band has been making unpretentious, feel-good music since 2007.
