After being sealed for over 10,000 years, this cave was discovered in 1963 when a group of workers were digging to build a highway overpass. Daily tours are available and last just over an hour. The cave stays a comfortable 72 degrees Farenheit year-round, and features not only beautiful rock formations but also the remains of prehistoric mastodons, saber-tooth cats and other ice age animals. After your tour, enjoy the shaded picnic area with a playscape for children.
A gorgeous green space, Southwest Williamson County Regional Park is spread over 800 acres (323.74 hectares) in the beautiful city of Leander. The huge park is home to eleven soccer fields, eight tennis courts, two softball fields, six basketball courts and a football field. Apart from playing games here, you can choose to ride a cycle, go walking, or simply sit under the shady trees and enjoy the nature.

This public golf course set in the beautiful Texas hill country opened in 1991. The Dick Phelp-designed 18-hole course utilizes the ProShot Yardage System with Global Positioning Satellites that guide the players around the course. Offering pin distance information and helpful tips from the professionals, this small computer system is equipped on all EZGO-Carts. Stop in and visit the on-site pro shop or try out the 3-tiered driving range. Green fees include the cost of cart rental.
An impeccably landscaped golf course, Star Ranch is located in the beautiful city of Hutto. Lying at half an hours' distance from downtown Austin, it sees a lot of members and guests coming over the weekends. The 18-hole golf course is a luxurious one, with state-of-the-art facilities and services. Home to a lot of tournaments, this golf course also rents out its facilities for private and corporate events.
TopGolf is a fun entertainment and recreation spot for people of all ages, right from kids, to youngsters, to adults. This golf course guarantees a lot of fun, with visitors being able to book bays for themselves. They also have membership and VIP passes available, in addition to organizing golfing summer camps for kids. Ever wondered what life was like on a 17th-century farm? Jourdan-Brachman Pioneer Farms is where you can relive all of those days gone by at the carefully simulated theme areas. Whether it is an 1860s German Immigrant Farm, an 1880s Cotton Planter Farm, or an 1870s Texan Farm, all of these can be revisited thanks to the brilliant reconstruction of the architects. Best of The West Range is the place to be, if you like some shooting and outdoor activities. Located at West State Highway 29, it offers packages for shooting targets and classes for the same. A lot of events related to shooting and aiming are conducted here on a regular basis. Non-members can also participate and hone their shooting skills here.
