Bloomington/Monroe County Convention Center is located in downtown Bloomington. Spread across 24,000 square feet (2229.67 square meters), it was initially built as Graham Motor Sales in 1923. Afterwards it was taken over by the Ford organization and was their assembly plant and showroom. It took over its current role in 1991 and has continued to be one of the focal places in the community. In 2012, the center was renovated to give it a more contemporary look. Its walls are adorned with impressive artworks by local artists and visitors are welcome to stop by to admire them.
