Located at one of the highest points in all of Indiana, Pete Dye Course has beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, a rugged terrain which is intense and challenging with its narrow freeways and changing bunkers. The 18-hole-course is divided into five sets of tees in accordance with the skill levels of the golfers. The clubhouse itself stands high above the sea, a fully restored piece of beautiful Victorian architecture which also provides room and board.

Apart from skiing, the resort also has a restaurant and ski rental store. Combining safety with adventure, there is a first aid facility too. Though, you cannot stay here overnight, there are other hotels located in the nearby vicinity.
The Hoosier National Forest comes under the purview of the United States Forest Service. This forest is home to the American chestnut trees that were especially planted by the Purdue University, The American Chestnut Foundation and Northern Research Station.
